for you, my body longs for you, in a dry and weary land where there is no water. - Psalm 63:1
I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have
kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to
me on that day... - 2 Timothy 4:7-8
Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves
the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For everything in the world -- the cravings of sinful man, the lust of his
eyes and the boasting of what he has and does -- comes not from the Father but from the world. The world and its desires pass
away, but the man who does the will of God lives forever. - 1 John 2:15-17
So I say, live by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires
of the sinful nature.
Galatians 5:16

of God belongs to such as these.
Mark 10:13-14

My son, if you
accept my words and store up my commands within you, turning your ear to wisdom and applying your heart to understanding,
and if you call out for insight and cry aloud for understanding, and if you look for it as for silver and search for it as
for hidden treasure, then you will understand the fear of the LORD and find the knowledge of God. - Proverbs 2:1-5
So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to
you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.
Matthew 7:12
